How Does Custom-Made Attire Work?
You describe for me what you're looking for. The more descriptive you
are, the more clear my picture of what you want is, and the closer the final
product is to your  vision.
I help you finalize the details of the pattern and clarify any details that
aren't clear yet. If you haven't given me a picture or drawings by this point, I
may send you one.
You choose the fabrics, lining fabrics, trimmings, and detailing you want.
The materials for your garment are purchased. You can send materials you
have purchased to me (based on yardage requirements I send you) or I can
send you swatches based on your descriptions and you choose from them.
You have your measurements taken. One of the most important steps to
get right. You can have a friend help you fill out the measurement form.
Based on your measurements and pattern choices I make a mock-garment.
The purpose is for us to check the fit and the pattern choices before
cutting the expensive fabric. This will be mailed to you to have your friend
and a camera help fit precisely .
Using your mock-garment as a guide, I make the actual garment.
Your finished garment is sent for your inspection
